It's been something that I've purposely not written about yet, because it has been a subject that I've tried not to dwell on too much. But with the day quickly approaching, I think it's time to tell you all that a big change is happening here with the Griffmore Girls.
This Friday, my momma will be moving onward and upward in a step to further her real estate business, and she will be relocating the 3,000 miles Back East to South Carolina.
I am really excited for this next big step for her, and I am so proud of her for once again having the guts to set out on a new adventure, on her own. But simultaneously, I feel like I now know what she felt when I left to move to New York. A combination of excitement for her, and some sadness for me.
But I remember how my mom behaved when I moved to New York - like a champ - and so I've channeled that experience and am trying to make sure she knows I support her in chugging full speed ahead and making her life happen for her.
Letting go is never easy, but I know she's off to kick ass and take names.
So cheers to you, Momma. You'll be amazing. xoxo.
