Abby...in the City

I first introduced you to one of the most fantastic friends of  my life back when I gave her this birthday shoutout in March, and I am now so ecstatic to announce the my sweet Abby is in my city for a whole week!!!  I am leaving the city tomorrow night actually to spend the week in New England, so I only have today and a bit of tomorrow to see her, but I am just so excited to get some actual face time with her again...and it'll be our first time hanging out together in New York!

I spent Thanksgiving 2008 in San Francisco with Abby + her roomies...this is us playing on the Steward Street Slides on Thanksgiving morning.  I couldn't have imagined a better Holiday weekend if I tried!!

Abby + I met for the first time in a terrible Stats class we'd both signed up for our Spring Semester of Freshman Year at San Francisco State University.  I spotted her and our dear friend, Robert, from across the room, and made sure to sit next to them in the following class.  It was history from there...  Abby was a fellow Southern California girl living in San Francisco, and although she managed to fair in SF much better than I did (I couldn't take the constantly gloomy weather) and still lives there today, we learned that we are total kindred spirits, and I don't think that there's any doubt we will be friends for so many years to come.  We've gone through some of our best, worst, and most fun moments together, and I'm so excited to introduce her to what my life looks like these days!
