My Saturday evening went like this:
524 pm :: Want to smack the mother of the child behind me for letting him repeatedly scream "We gonna crash into the river ahhhhh!" upon the descent of our plane.
530 pm :: Land safely at La Guardia.
625 pm :: Pull out of the Dollar Rent-A-Car and press the pedal to the metal across the Triboro Bridge.
640 pm :: Find a parking garage to leave my car overnight on E. 93rd Street.
642 pm :: Squeeze my bestie with a huge hug and prance down 1st Avenue.
645 pm :: Haul my overweight suitcase up three flights of stairs.
645 pm :: Haul my overweight suitcase up three flights of stairs.
715 pm :: Wine on the balcony fire escape.
802 pm :: More wine. (Duh.)
845 pm :: Hail a cab and fly down FDR Drive, taking in the warm summer air.
859 pm :: Arrive at Tom Collichio's Riverwalk for an incredibly mouthwatering dinner, seated on the open air terrace, overlooking the East River.
**Picture above is proof of how I continually find myself in the most amazing of places with the loveliest of friends.
