Yesterday was officially the four month mark on our European Girls' Getaway countdown. Just me, Natalie*, the sites of London, a few Stellas or more, the Chunnel to France, the sites of Paris, lots of Parisian wine and French food, a champagne toast at the top of le Tour Eiffel, an evening dinner boat ride on the River Seine... We've vowed to not step foot in a museum while we are there, but to baske in the here-and-now and capture as much of English and French daily life as we can.
*best partner-in-crime I could ask for, for 11 years and counting.

That is exactly how I like to travel if I've got limited time in a place. I'd rather soak up the Europe-ness than see anything in a museum!
