For the first time in many Mondays, I really feel like I'm taking control back and forging forward on my own path. Some really exciting things are unfolding in my world- cannot wait to share them with you in the coming week.
How was your weekend? Mine was perfect and laid back, spent with family and my besties. I hosted dinner at Chateau de Lace Saturday night and made an amazing (if I do say so) cake that night, which I plan to share with you this week, and my sisters and their manfriends introduced me to this amazeballs restaurant last night in Echo Park (that's a cool kid neighborhood here in LA). Ohmygosh, I was way impressed and will be returning very soon.

Tell me what happened on Friday after we emailed! I can't wait to hear about this cake...my grandma said my dad would love it, so that's got me really curious!
