1. Central Park.
2. That feeling in the air when Spring starts creeping into the last days of Winter. (The first sight of restaurants putting chairs out on their patios is like a lost man in the desert catching sight of a body of water in the distance - for realz.)
3. Bagel shop coffee.
4. Nights out til 4 am, without any worry of how we'll get home after we have just one more cocktail.
5. Trying the latest fun new downtown restaurants.
6. Frequenting the tried and true old downtown restaurants.
7. Warm afternoons spent lazing away at the Frying Pan.
8. The unexpected.
9. The energy.
10. Most importantly: my peeps.

Side note: I cannot begin to even put into words how you all made me feel with the reactions you gave yesterday to my guest post on Emily's blog. I mean, seriously, I knew the main folks in my life rocked, but I didn't realize exactly how much the people in the peripherals of my life truly rock, as well. I heard from gals from high school, guys from my elementary school days, friends from back East, and the list goes on. I was floored. All of you sent the kindest and most empowering words, and it made the slight tinge of embarrassment that I'd felt at posting such a personal experience, practically dissipate. So, from the sincerest part of me, THANK YOU.

I know that if I ever go to NY, you are coming with me!
Stop making me miss New York again!!! Seriously though, we need to have a rendezvous there sometime soon (aka before this baby comes).
I miss bagel shop coffee too. And delis! I miss delis!
I love NYC! I've never lived there, but just said last night at dinner with my cousin that I desperately want to go back!! Love it there!!
Hope you're having a good weekend!
