You know how you always hear that "second day hair" is better than freshly washed hair? Yah, well I save those "second day hair" days for the days that I am not going anywhere or doing anything that requires pretty hair, because my second day hair just never works. But I do envy the way second day hair holds shape so much better because it has a little bit more of the natural hair oils from not having been washed that morning. Follow me so far, or am I rambling?
Anyway, my hair gal (she's a genius, by the way, so if you're in Los Angeles and need a new gal, I'll happily send you her info) recommended a salt spray for me to use on my "first day hair" to give it that "second day hair" texture. And if you're anything like me, you love a good hair tip. (I kind of suck at anything hair or makeup, so I take advice where I can get it.)
So, allow me to recommend to you Bumble and bumble.'s Surf Spray. I'd seen it in salons for years and always wondered what it was all about, and now I know. And now I use it a few times a week to give my hair an extra oomph.

I have not only because I think my hair would look ridiculous. It has plenty of the texture already.
I don't use that brand but I do use sea salt spray, esp when i want to curl my hair and dont want it all perfect looking
Is your hair naturally wavy? Mine is straight as can be, so I wonder
(and sort of doubt) that product would work for me. I did ask my hair dresser and she wasn't sure either.

Never used this just because the $$ bothered me...but knowing it might actually work I might as well try. I'm already exhausted washing my hair every day...because really, my "second day hair" never exists. Ever.
I am a freaking GREASE ball who needs to wash my hair every day and hates anyone who's hair looks good for more than 24 hrs... the end. lol
My hair is too curly to have good second day hair :( It makes me sad.
I'm with you. My second day hair is too oily and dirty to do anything with. I think this may work for me. I've seen the spray everywhere just never tried it.
Oh gosh I WISH my hair looked good on the second day, mine is the pits. It's too fine to even pretend to go in public with on day 2
