My autumn day dreams.

On to the topic that so many people are writing about right now: SEPTEMBER.

Autumn is by far my favorite season, but I am having a little bit of a hard time imagining it's arrival this year.  For the first time in three years, I am not living on the East Coast with the changing foliage, where the air changes from hot and humid to crisp and brisk just like magic one morning.  Unlike the last few years, this year, I'm not anticipating the apple orchards and the pumpkin patches and the corn mazes.
Autumn is the only time of the year that I wish California's weather had a little more range to it.

But then I remember the winters that followed those pristine Autumn-y days, and....  I remind myself how darn lucky I am to live in paradise.

The grass is always greener, right?

Oh lady, I feel you! Although MS winters are not as brutal as a Northern winter, it makes me sad to think about going back to CA next week. The grass IS always greener...

I never knew what California was missing in terms of Fall weather until I moved to VT. Now, I don't ever want to leave it. But Winter really really does suck. haha. I'll enjoy Vermont's Fall for you if you enjoy California's Winter for me. :)
