I am a sucker for a singer/songwriter type of song. A good guitar or banjo and some clear vocals, and it takes me somewhere else.
I was driving through the canyon here in LA a few months ago (canyon is the word we use to refer to the roads that cross over the big hill that separates the "city" from the "valley" here in LA), with my roof open, my windows down, and my hair pulled back, when this song came on the radio. And with the warm summer night sky above me and the twisty road in front of me, this song took me somewhere else.

Oh my word I'm a sucker for a singer songwriter jam. I heart an acoustic guitar more than I heart food and that's a lot! :) can't wait to listen to this when I get off work!
