Ladies and gents, meet my girl, Emily.
(Emily, I hope you don't mind that I just called you 'my girl', even though we have yet to officially formally meet in "real" life...I just feel like we're already that good of friends!)

I was introduced to Emily and her cheerfully designed and eloquently written blog, Oh Hello, Love!, early this summer after her sister, Erin (who also writes an awesome blog - it runs in the family, obviously), sent me to check her out. And I'm so glad I did, for a few reasons.
One of those reasons is that these two girls have jumped to the top of my daily reads list. They are both honest and sweet and insightful, and totally true to exactly who they are. [And one lives in Maine (Erin) and the other in Chicago (Emily), which happen to be two totally cool places that I love to visit.]
The other of those reasons is that after contemplating for months (okay, maybe almost a year) about hiring someone to help me with a blog redesign, I finally contacted the ever approachable Emily to help me out.
She was so sweet, so helpful, so quick to react to all of my questions/thoughts/comments/changes. She guided me when I needed it and responded to the things that I felt particular about. And she was so quick! I think it only took her two or three business days (even us bloggers need our weekends off :)) from start to finish to make Lacey in the City look pulled together and like a real blog. And after almost four years of blogging at this address, I think LITC deserved to look a little more cohesive!
I love the result and am so, so happy that I finally reached out to someone to help me with a redesign, and I am absolutely thrilled that it was Emily that I finalled reached out to. So on that note, I have to honestly say that if you are looking for some blog design help, I totally 100% recommend you email Emily. You can read a little bit more about her blog designing here.
And even if you don't need design help, just go over to her blog, Oh Hello, Love!, and say hey to her - trust me, you will love her!
(Photos were totally jacked from Oh Hello, Love!.)

I love it! Your welcome message is really cute : )
Aren't I lucky to have her as my sister/ personal blog designer? Seriously though, this was such a sweet post. It's been so nice "meeting" you. Em got me into blogging and I'm so glad she was finally able to convince me!
This is the nicest post. Ever. I made Adrian read it and he agrees. Thank you so much for such kind words!!
Cute new look girl. So gonna check Emily out now. That just sounded weird, but ya know what I meant by that. lol
xoxo
I heart Emily SO much, she is a dear friend and she helped design my blog too (hamlinhouseblog.com)! Don't you just love her?? She did a great job on yours - I absolutely love the graphic at the top! Also, if you're ever in Chicago, feel free to join us for mid-week mojitos! :) (Wow, I sure used a lot of exclamation marks...)
