The Best of MCC.

Darkwing introduced this song to me when I was nine or ten, when we lived in a small town in Kentucky.  He, Little Sister and I would put this cassette into the player and have a little Friday night dance party to the best of Mary Chapin Carpenter.

Fast forward to New York City, Summer 2010: this song came on the radio at the Southern-themed bar my best friend and I had ended up at; memories flooded back from my late 1990's dance parties, we both jumped to our feet, and danced our hearts out.

Amazing the places a song can take you, isn't it?

O.M.G! I love this song! 1990s country was so much better to me than it is now days :). and that's so cute that you and your friends have memories to this song because I do too! I miss the 90s.

Billy Joel - River of Dreams does that to me too. I remember when my mom got the cassette and we danced all through the house that night to this song over and over. :)
