Sweet Sunday.

Sunday might just be my favorite day of the week.  

I love spending my Sundays sleeping in, going for coffee at my favorite small coffee joint around the corner, checking out the newsstand for the latest copy of New York Magazine or grabbing whatever book I'm into at the moment and just spending the morning relaxing and soaking in the (Sun)day.  Flea marketing is always a favorite stop of mine if I'm near one (there's a great one in a Brooklyn neighborhood called Fort Greene - about an hour trek though from my Upper East Side abode), and brunching with your gal pals is like a ritual around these parts.  When the weather is nice, a walk in Central Park (five blocks away from my apartment) is always high on the list, and is usually followed by collapsing on the grass in the Great Lawn (a large open field in the Park) to watch multiple baseball games being played simultaneously and to observe New York's youngest citizens running and playing and thinking that they're exploring some sort of natural wilderness.  

Today, I won't be found gallivanting 'round the city, however, but you can still bet I'll be enjoying my day.  There's another big trade show going on here in New York in which I'm participating for work.  Don't be fooled, it's actually a good bit of fun.  And check out the location of where I'll be spending my next five days:

Looking beyond the fantastic view of the Midtown Manhattan skyline (as seen from New Jersey), check out that black dot of a convention center in the bottom right (the one that I happened to highlight with a red circle for easy viewing)...  That is where I'll be!  So you see, I still do have it pretty good this Sunday, don't you agree?
