Happy Saturday to you all! Sometimes I think making it through a short week post-holiday is just as bad a regular five-day week. I just couldn't get my sleeping pattern in order this past week, so here it is Saturday, and I find myself totally exhausted. It's supposed to be a rainy day today, and I'm actually looking forward to it cooling the city down a bit.
I am heading over to the Upper West Side in a bit to see a friend from my college days in San Francisco. She moved to the city about six months ago, and we still haven't been able to connect, so I'm excited to see her! This evening, SJ and I are heading to Brooklyn (it's really not that far, but for some reason I always have to allot for at least an hour of travel time to get there from the Upper East Side) to see our friend TL and his band play a show. I've never seen them play, so I'm looking forward to it!

My current polish color. From OPI's India Collection, I might have discovered my favorite Summer Orangey-Red color: MonSooner or Later.
These coffee/tea cups (via anthropologie). How I wish I had a bigger kitchen!
Coconut water. I drink Zico, which I think is great. It doesn't have a strong taste to it at all, and get this: Coconut Water rehydrates you faster than water, has five essential electrolytes, and has more potassium than a banana. It's also zero fat, zero added sugar, and only sixty calories. (And it works wonders on a hangover!)
LODIS's new Synergy Lexy Crossbody Bag in this buttery soft lambskin leather (via Lodis). I'm obsessed. It's the perfect size for your cell phone, cards/cash, lip gloss and keys... What more do you need? It comes in Grey, Black, and Camel. I've been rocking the Grey color around the city lately. Which color do you like the best?
Peonies. They are my very favorite flower, and I love buying them for my apartment in the summer.
Little Bee. I'm still only halfway through, so I can't tell you if I will definitely still love it by the end, but for now, I'm pretty well immersed! I think the bright orange cover is what originally drew me in.

Those cups are so nice! Totally something I'd buy. Loving the nail polish too, I might just have to check that out! And peonies are so pretty.
Love that you're a Toby fan too!! He's incredible, like there are no words. He released his newest single Trailerhood in late June, it's on iTunes! And he comes out with a new album in Sept/Oct! I'm dying with anticipation!
