SJ: I'd be up for skipping my spinning class tonight if you want to meet for dinner. P.S. Mermaid parade in Coney Island Saturday!
Me: What praytell is a mermaid parade?
SJ: Evidently an annual Coney Island event. Like sea creature themed Halloween at Coney Island!
Me: Oh boy.
SJ: Yep. Seemed like an amazing idea after multiple beers last night.

Miss Wilson also suggested we dress up in sarongs and bikini tops to fit in with the others at the parade. right on that, rose. i can't see anything more fun than wearing a bikini top to coney island on a saturday and drinking beers all day.
