My thoughts are half a world away...

My cousin, EJ, just got back from touring Europe with some friends, which totally got me reminiscing about my time there, and yearning to return.  When I visited Amsterdam a few years ago, I had no idea until we got to the city that it actually boasts more canal waterways than Venice.  Who knew?  From the beautiful waterways, to the fact that hundreds of thousands of people rely on bicycles as their main mode of transportation, to the Red Light District (middle image) and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Palace (which my little sister and I are posing in front of in the bottom image), the city was one that I'd really love to have spent more than a few hours in.
