My friends are probably funnier than your friends.

I have some seriously funny friends.  I mean, the kind where the laughs start flowing the second you're back in each other's presence; the kind that send me the sassiest, silliest text messages out of no where and totally make my entire afternoon; the kind that are witty and smart and always keeping me on my toes with their ridiculously sharp comebacks.

Quote of the day from my dear friend and fellow Southerner-turned-NYCer, MM, in regards to canceling her date tonight:
"Sometimes a gal just doesn’t feel like puttin’ on the ritz. She would rather put some cheese whiz on the ritz and watch bad television.  Tonight is that night for me."
Cheese whiz???  REALLY, M??  Too funny.
