My computer screen saver is the kind that flashes pictures from my iPhoto library randomly across the screen, so when I caught glimpse of this guy pop up today, I had to go on a search in iPhoto to actually find the image. It's a piece that I drew in the Fall 0f 2005 for one of my art classes. I ended up dropping out of the class shortly after this project. Not for lack of appreciation of the class, but because I was offered a great fashion internship that interfered with the class time. I was particularly proud of this piece that I did though, and it makes me wonder what else I could have cultivated out of my time there, had I seen the class to the end.
So now that I've drawn him, can I please please bump into a real-life version of him on a sidewalk here in New York sometime?

hahaha, fortunately for my sister (unfortunately for miss Lacy) he is! They got married last year--but have been together for almost 20 years! Do you mind if I show them this picture??
