Picture it.
Yesterday morning, 830 am. I'm sipping on my morning coffee, windows rolled down and sun roof open, crawling up the Sepulveda Pass on the 405. There are 10 lanes of traffic to my left, a 4 foot high construction barrier to my right blocking the construction area from the freeway flow. And all of a sudden, HERE COMES BAMBI.
Head and antlers bopping up and down, up and down as he plowed north through the construction zone. I hit my brakes (not much of a difference from the 5 mph crawl I'd been doing), and rubbernecked myself backward to watch as the construction workers dove to the left and to the right to jump out of Bambi's way.
And just when you think you've seen everything in LA...the city throws you a buck. Galloping down the busiest freeway in LA.
