Farewells are so not fun.

My friend, Jessica, got engaged back in May to an amazing guy. She'd known Bryan since college, and 11 years later, they reconnected, and he proposed. He'd told his parents over a decade ago that Jessica was the woman that he'd marry, and lo and behold, here they are: planning a wedding and a beautiful life ahead of them in Oklahoma City.

Jessica is leaving LA to head back to the Southwest (she's originally from Texas) to start her life with Bryan, and it's such a bittersweet moment for me and all of Jessica's friends. We are beyond stoked for her happiness and the fact that she's found such a fantastic person to call her husband. But we can't help but be sad for ourselves...we're losing the proximity of a dear friend.

The good thing though is that I love visiting Oklahoma (true story!), and I am super stoked to head out for a weekend sometime in the near future with Jess and Bryan for some true Oklahoma experiences!
