I have been scooting around LA like mad these past few days. My new boss flew into LAX on Monday night around midnight, and I picked her up and dropped her off at her hotel. All day Tuesday and today (Wednesday), we hopped from one appointment to the next to the next. And then we cocktailed, and then we dined, and then we toured around the city. In the past 48 hours, we've driven over 400(!!) miles around Los Angeles and Orange County.
And I. am. exhausted.
But I have a well satisfied tourist and a happy (and amazingly nice!) boss, so it's an absolutely successful first week thus far.
But I can say I am very excited for Saturday and pjs and coffee on the couch time to roll around :)

That sounds like a blast! I can see how it would be draining too though. The best kinds of sleepiness come from having an awesome time.
I'm exhausted too!! I flew into New York Tuesday night after a full day of work, worked all day yesterday (from like 9-9), flew back home this morning. Now I'm sitting at my computer "working" aka trying not to fall asleep and also obviously reading blogs. Come onnnnnnn Friday at 5pm!!! I need you NOW!
I would LOVE to hear about this new adventure! Pat is gone this weekend for stuff and I'll be home alone all weekend so we should plan a phone date! Let me know when is good for you :)
Wow! I am exhausted reading this!! Please enjoy your relaxing Saturday tomorrow!! Sounds like a lot of fun! And I feel like it wouldn't be THAT hard to drive that much around here! Everything is so spread out!
