Picture it: Caitie from Snarkoholic and I were out and about downtown Friday night to celebrate a) her new apartment and b) her 2Xth birthday(!!). I introduced her to one of my fave Spanish restaurants, we had a couple drinks at a bar on Houston Street, and then decided to call it a night.

As we started through the crosswalk, this man abruptly turned to the traffic that was making a left turn and waiting to drive through our crosswalk, turned to face them with a double handed one-finger salute and screamed "Eff you, eff you, eff you, and eff you!!!" (please note that this is my blog-friendly translation of what he actually voiced) at the car drivers for the entire time that it took us to get through the crosswalk.
Totally unsolicited, and totally ridiculous.
Of course, Caitie and I were walking behind him, doubled over laughing.
Such a perfect ending to a New York Friday night.

Hahaha!! Oh my gosh, that is too funny! What a way to celebrate a birthday!
I unfortunately didn't tell my friend how rude she was, or how I had been looking forward to it and she let me down. I'm completely regretting that now, but at least I know how she is playing the game. Talk about a "friend"!
I hope that you have an awesome day!
