Lovely Readers,
You might remember when I posted this entry back in June about my then-upcoming trip to Los Angeles. Well, I was admittedly not a very nice big sister that day, because I posted about how my little sister, LMG, had switched her shift at work and was therefore unavailable to pick me up from the airport after she assured me that she was free that morning (you may check the original entry for the gory details if need be).
However, I never followed that entry up with the fact that both of my wonderful sisters responded to my blog post by speaking to each of their respective bosses (without the other sister knowing) about my potentially stranded self, and both managed to get it cleared to leave work and save this girl (moi) from having to take either some form of public transportation or a $70 cab to the Valley. (If you are an Angeleno, you understand my anxiety when presented with these options.)
The result was that both sisters ended up being available to come fetch their favorite middle sister (again, moi) from the chaos that is Los Angeles International Airport, and for this, I would like to issue an official apology.

(The Sisters Three. From left to right: LMG, Yours Truly, LR)
LR (older sister), you already know you rock my world and are always there to save a sistah when need be. (Except on the weekends when you and Mr. R are busy galavanting 'round town to answer my phone calls.)
LMG (lil bit), I'm sorry. You still aren't a genius - let's face it, we both flirted our ways through Chemistry class in high school - but you are pretty darn sweet. Sometimes. But in this case, you definitely were. I'm sorry for not publishing this retraction sooner, but we've always known that I am a major procrastinator. (The only thing that got me to go ahead and get this published today is the fact that you promised to boycott reading le blog until I apologized.)
So Readers, now you know. I've got two sisters I wouldn't trade for the world.
You can quote me on that.
