When walking through the city, I find myself craning my neck upwards to take in the rooftops of buildings. I think they tend to be totally overlooked, but add some seriously cool character to the city. Whether they're adorned with water towers (how vintage), penthouse apartments, or a fantastic terrace of some sort, I love to take note of all the unique ways New York buildings are topped off.
