Dear Pittsburgh:

I need to make sure to follow up on my apology to the city of Pittsburgh.

I admittedly did not expect much when heading out to Western Pennsylvania last week, but was totally surprised at how beautiful of a city the Burgh is!  I expected an old coal town, super industrial, and overall...gray.

I found a beautiful New England-esque (in the Mid-Atlantic, I know) town nestled on the hills and against the Allegheny River.  There were a few sweet shopping districts, everyone was extremely personable, and Pittsburgh drivers were notably quite polite drivers!

I give the city a great apology and have relearned that age old lesson of not judging something til you experience it!
